SUNNY, WARM AND DRY WITH EXCELLENT VISIBILITY….

Today has been sunny and dry with abundant sunshine. Visibility is 80
miles as we experience our 6th straight day without rain. This resulted
in a few brush fires this afternoon, despite wind being on the lighter
side. Our rain deficit is currently 2.76 inches below normal with a
monthly total of 0.53 inches!

As temperatures have worked their way into the 70’s, the dew points are
only in the upper 30’s. This yields a relative humidity measurement of
only 26% at the 1 P.M. observation.

The maximum temperature so far today is 74F, which is 14 degrees above
the normal high of 60F. The minimum temperature since midnight is 47F,
which is 5 degrees above the normal low of 42F.
