A MID OCTOBER BEAUTY OF A DAY ON THIS SUNDAY AT BLUE HILL….
What a way to show off on a weekend! Mother Nature has provided
us with spectacular weather this weekend which I know is
appreciated by most. Sunshine has been the theme today with
some increase in mid and upper level clouds as the afternoon
rolls on. But temperatures have reached the upper 60s to near
70 with low humidity levels and not much wind, so it’s just a
perfect day to be outdoors.
As mentioned, the humidity is on the low side with the dew
point hanging out in the upper 40s/near 50. Just perfect!
The wind has been rather light today with an average of only
around 8mph to this point.
Visibility has been limited a bit today due to haziness.
Generally we’ve only been able to see about 35-40 miles all day.
The high so far today is 68F, which is 7 degrees above
the normal maximum of 61F. The low since midnight is 50F,
which is 6 degrees above the normal low of 44F.
