DAILY DISCUSSION AND CLIMATE SUMMARY
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 16, 2016
ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME

TEMPERATURES CLIMB TO SLIGHTLY ABOVE AVERAGE AS DRY CONDITIONS PREVAIL

Above average temperatures took hold today, reaching a high of 67F by the 1:00PM
observation. Despite thin, high cirrus and scattered altostratus, it was still a
very sunny and pleasant day. A high pressure system continued to bring dry
conditions with dew points in the upper 40s. Winds were gusting out of the South as
high pressure moved away causing a large fall in the barometric pressure for the day.
