ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME
COOLER, BUT PLEASANT DAY WITH INCREASING CLOUDINESS…
Plenty of sunshine greeted us through the first half of
the day, however this afternoon an increasing amount
of high clouds has filtered the sun from time to time.
The air has really dried out with the dew point falling
to the upper 30s and low 40s. This has afforded excellent
visibility for the day of 70-80 miles.
A cold front moved through early this morning bringing
with it some breezy conditions for a couple of hours in
the cold air advection. Gusts of 25-30 mph were common,
however winds have diminished and turned east-
northeasterly, helping to hold temperatures in the upper
50s to low 60s. The high temperature for the day occurred
way back at midnight before the front came through.
The high so far today is 64, 12 degrees above the daily
normal of 62F. The low since midnight is 53F, which is
8 degrees above the normal low of 45F.
