A MIX OF SUN AND CLOUDS, AND PLEASANTLY MILD ON THIS SUNDAY…
Not a bad day at all for early November with partial sunshine
and unseasonably mild temperatures. The mercury has reached the
low 60s early this afternoon. Definitely a pleasant feel to the
air especially with a light wind blowing out there.
As mentioned, the temperature has reached the lower 60s, which
is solidly more than 5 degrees above the expected high for this
time of year. The dew point has been rising slightly from the
mid 30s to around 40, so the air mass is still on the dry side.
The wind has been quite light today, even going calm for a time
this morning. The average speed so far for the day is around
7mph. The peak gust for the day so far has only been around
20mph, occurring around 1am.
Despite the comfortable dew points and crisp air, the maximum
visibility has only reached around 40 miles once again today
due to general haziness.
The maximum temperature so far today is 61F, which is 7 degrees
above the normal high of 54F. The minimum temperature since
midnight is 45F, which is 8 degrees above the normal low of 37F.
