MUCH COOLER TODAY UNDER PLENTY OF SUNSHINE AND A BRISK WIND…

The most recent stretch of above normal temperatures have come
to an end as today has returned to slightly below to near normal
levels. The saving grace today is the abundance of sunshine which
is making for a very nice day overall.

Temperatures dropped into the upper 20s overnight into early this
morning, but have recovered to near 50F degrees early this afternoon,
which is slightly above the expected temperature for today’s date.
The dew point has been in the upper 20s to around 30 today, which is
considerably lower than the low 50s of yesterday morning.

Winds have been busy again today with frequent gusts 25-30mph
occurring. The average speed for the day so far is around 11mph.
The peak gust so far has been 38mph, which occurred just after the
1pm observation.

Visibility has been gradually increasing from 50 miles early this
morning to around 60-65 miles by early this afternoon.

The maximum temperature so far today is 50F, which is 1 degree
above the normal high of 49F. The minimum temperature since
midnight is 29F, which is 4 degrees below the normal low of 33F.
