WET AND MUCH COOLER TODAY FOLLOWING WARM TEMPS YESTERDAY….
What a difference a day makes! After temperatures in the 70s
yesterday, today has been some 20-25 degrees colder. The
high temperature for today was way back at midnight, when it
was 51 degrees. Temps have been gradually falling through the
upper 40s to the mid 40s since this morning.
An area of light rain has been moving through this morning
into early this afternoon. Rainfall from this has only amounted
to 0.08″ since 7am. So far there has been no sun today.
The wind has been mostly light this morning, but has been
showing signs of trying to increase this afternoon. The
average speed for the day is around 9mph so far. A peak gust
of 30mph occurred just after the 1pm observation.
The high so far today is 51F, which is equal to the normal
maximum of 51F. The low since midnight is 47F, which is 12
degrees above the normal low of 35F.
