BLUE HILL METEOROLOGICAL OBSERVATORY
MILTON, MASSACHUSETTS
ELEVATION 635 FEET, 10 MILES SSW OF BOSTON, MA
DAILY DISCUSSION AND CLIMATE SUMMARY
SUNDAY, MAY 24, 2015
ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME
DRY CONDITIONS CONTINUE TODAY WITH TEMPERATURES
IN THE 80’S
The low temperature of 50F this morning got us off
to a warmer start than yesterday and clear skies have
allowed temperatures to climb quickly this morning.
Winds are gusting close to 30 mph this morning and
combined with the high temperatures and low humidities
to create an elevated risk of brush fires and one fire
did start 2-3 miles Northeast of the observatory.
