DAILY DISCUSSION AND CLIMATE SUMMARY
SUNDAY, MARCH 3, 2019
ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME
SKY CLEARS AND ALLOWS FOR SOME SUN THROUGH THE
MORNING; CLOUD COVER INCREASES IN THE AFTERNOON….
Clouds broke up early this morning allowing for a mostly

throughout the day, leaving for decently good visibility,
besides some haze at each observation. Yesterday’s storm
totaled 4.2″ of snow, and with temperatures above freezing,
an inch has already melted by the 1 o’clock observation
today, leaving about 3.2″ behind. Pressure increased
overnight and through the morning until just after 10 A.M.
when it started to decrease, and it has been decreasing
since then. Wind speeds have decreased since yesterday,
only reaching a maximum speed so far today of 13 knots.
Our high temperature so far today is 40F, and our low
temperature since midnight is 25F. With another snow
storm in the forecast for tonight, cloud cover has been
increasing since the 7 o’clock observation this morning.
