BLUSTERY WITH A MIX OF SUN AND CLOUDS….

Sunshine has been the theme most of the day with decorative
stratocumulus dotting the sky early this afternoon. A very
gusty west to west-northwest wind has been blowing all day
with gusts over 40mph occurring this afternoon. With the
temperature only in the mid to upper 30s, and the dew point
in the upper single digits to low teens, it really feels like
winter today.

The high for today so far has been a solid 7 degrees below
the normal expected for the day. So the chill is legit.

As mentioned, the wind has been gusty with frequent gusts
over 30mph, and several gusts now over 40mph. A peak gust of
47mph has occurred just after the 1pm observation. The
average speed for the day thus far is around 17mph.

Visibility has been excellent all day with views of 70-80
miles.

The low since midnight is 26F, this is 2 degrees below the
normal low is 28F. The high so far today is 38F, which is
7 degrees below the normal high of 45F.
