RAW AND OVERCAST WITH SNOW AND RAIN SHOWERS EXPECTED THIS AFTERNOON

Temperatures didn’t get below freezing last night as overcast conditions
persisted through the 10:00 AM observation with a few breaks in the overcast.
Light snow and rain showers began to impact the area just before the 10:00 AM
observation and intermittent precipitation continued throughout the day.
Temperatures rose to 41 at the 2:00 observation as rain and snow showers
continued.

Seasonal snowfall remains at 143.4 inches, just 1.0 inch below the snowiest
season on record set in 1995-1996. For more information about this historic

The average snow depth remains at 21 inches as of this morning. This is
the 41st consecutive day with 20 inches or more of snow on the ground which
is firmly in second place all time.  The record is 53 days set back in 1948.
