WARM AND HUMID WITH INCREASING WIND….

We measured 0.33 inches of rain from the storms and passing showers
overnight, with an additional 0.05 inches falling between the 7 and
10 A.M. observations. Weather conditions have improved since this
morning, where the visibility was down to a 1/16th mile due to fog.
Visibility has since improved to 30 miles by the 1 PM observation,
and we have some breaks of sunshine instead of a full overcast.

Wind has picked up since this morning, with frequent gusts above
20 kts and a peak gust so far today of 30 kts. This is a southerly
breeze, bringing in warm air and considerable moisture. At 1 PM.
the dew point was considerably high at 74F. Incredibly muggy!

The maximum temperature so far today is 83F, which is
5 degrees above the normal high of 78F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 59F, which is a degrees below the normal
low of 60F.
