WARM AND HUMID WITH A LOT OF CLOUD COVER TODAY AT BLUE HILL….

We started the day with dense fog limiting visibility to a 1/4
mile or less. The fog gradually lifted by mid morning, but the
clouds have been hanging around with very little sunshine.

Despite the lack of sunshine, temperatures have risen into the
upper 70s and low 80s after a morning low in the upper 60s.
The dew point continues on the high side with readings in the
low 70s. So there is plenty of moisture in the air making it
feel quite sticky.

Winds have been light yet again today with an average speed of
only around 5mph. Wind direction has been generally variable with
such light speeds. The highest gust so far today is only around
15mph!

Visibility improved from 1/4 mile early this morning to around
30 miles early this afternoon.

The maximum temperature so far today is 81F, this is 1 degrees
below the normal high of 82F. The minimum since midnight is 69F,
which is 5 degrees above the normal low of 64F.
