COOLER TEMPERATURES CONTINUE

Temperatures rose only to 87F yesterday afternoon ending the
first heat wave at Blue Hill Observatory for Summer 2017.
Cooler temperatures continue today, reaching 72 by 1:00PM EST.
Dew points have also decreased into the mid-50s.

A trace of precip. was measured at the 7:00AM observation from
the evening storms which passed to the south of the region.
Once they had passed, wind direction changed to out of the
northeast.  Wind speeds have also increased to make today one
of the windiest days this month.
