ABUNDANT SUNSHINE WITH LIGHT WIND TODAY, BUT ON THE COLDER SIDE….

We’ve had no shortage of sunshine today, which is a welcome
sight after a week of overcast skies. But of course our
reward comes with a price, colder air! Despite the
abundance of sunshine, the temperature has struggled to
reach the mid 30s (which is near normal for this date).

Thankfully the wind has been on the light side, thus no
issues with a wind chill factor. Wind speed has only
averaged around 9mph for the day so far. The peak gust,
which occurred around 4am, was 26 mph.

Visibility has been very good to excellent all day ranging
from 60 miles early this morning to 80 miles early this
afternoon.

The high so far today is 34F, which is 1 degree below
the normal maximum of 35F. The low since midnight is 20F,
which is 1 degree above the normal minimum of 19F.
