COLD DAY WITH WIND FROM THE NORTHWEST AND GOOD VISIBILITY….

Cold temperatures linger in the area another day, with a high
so far of only 25F. Our normal high for today is 34F. Last
night we experienced a low of 12F, with a normal daily low of
17F. Since 7 A.M., visibility has remained excellent, with
a clear view of Mount Monadnock, and a prevailing visibility
of about 80 miles. Although pressure has been dropping
moderately quickly, cloud cover has remained at about 5/8ths
of the sky being covered throughout the day. For a majority of
the day so far, our wind has been coming from the northwest,
with a shift to the northeast before 1 o’clock. Wind speeds
are beginning to slow as the day progresses.
