OVERCAST SKIES WITH SOME SNOW IN THE
EARLY AFTERNOON….
The sky has been overcast today, with a light easterly
wind. Visibility this morning was good at an average of
70 miles, but is now less than 20 miles due to a light
snowfall. About a 1/10th inch of snow has fallen since
the 1 P.M. observation.
The daily snowfall records for the next two days are
relatively low and may be surpassed in the upcoming storm.
The current records are:
December 1: 2.0 inches in 1902
December 2: 5.0 inches in 1894 and 1929
The high so far today is 29F, which is 15 degrees below the
daily normal maximum of 44F. The low since midnight is 16F,
