CLEAR SKIES, BUT WILDFIRE SMOKE RETURNS WITH HAZY CONDITIONS….

Today is another delightful day with comfortable temperatures
and humidity levels. Skies are perfectly clear in terms of not
a cloud in the sky, however wildfire smoke from Canada has
once again found it’s way to the region creating a milky sky
along with hazy conditions.

Temperatures have inched slightly above normal today with
readings reaching the low 80s early this afternoon. Dew point
values are still in the comfortable range with readings
holding in the mid 50s most of the day so far.

The wind has been on the light and variable side today. The
average speed has only been around 7 mph for the day so far.
Our peak gust is 18mph, which occurred around 3:30am this
morning.

Visibility has been quite limited today thanks to haziness
from the increasing amounts of smoke. The view has been
decreasing as the day progresses, from around 30 miles early
this morning to only 15 miles by early this afternoon.

The maximum temperature so far today is 82F degrees, which is
equal to the normal high of 82F. The minimum temperature since
midnight is 59F degrees, which is 5 degrees below the normal
low of 64F.
