ANOTHER WARM AND DRY DAY WITH CLEAR SKIES AND
LIGHT AND VARIABLE WINDS
Yesterday was yet another day this hot month of August with
high temperatures in the high 80’s (86F) and dew points rising
to the low 60’s. Dry conditions are prevailing throughout the
region.
The above normal temperatures continue today with our morning low
of 66 degrees running 6 degrees above the normal. Only 5 days have
had cooler than normal temperatures this month.
By the 1 o’clock observation, generally clear skies had a few small
cumulus clouds with visibility at 70 miles. Dry and warm conditions
continued to prevail.
