SUNSHINE THROUGH INCREASING CLOUDS; WARM AND A TOUCH HUMID….

Today has featured sunshine through the first half of the day,
however an area of high and mid level clouds have moved into the
region early this afternoon filtering the sunshine. Low level
convective clouds have also developed thanks to the heating of
the day.

The temperature has warmed into the mid 80s today with the dew
point in the upper 50s. So it definitely feels like summer out
there today, especially compared to the refreshing conditions
we had most of last week.

Winds have been on the light side, with the average speed so
far of only around 6mph. The peak gust so far is only about
15mph, taking place just after midnight.

Visibility has been somewhat limited today due to haziness. The
view has only been between 25-30 miles.

The maximum temperature so far today is 83F, which is 4 degrees
above the normal high of 79F. The minimum temperature since
midnight is 62F, which is equal to the normal low of 62F.
