MORE HUMID TODAY, SCATTERED CLOUDS AND BREEZY CONDITIONS….

We have been under mostly scattered skies today, though by the
afternoon more clouds have moved into the area as a frontal
boundary begins to push through.

Temperatures were quick to rise with the morning sunshine,
though with the breezy wind and increasing clouds we made it
just to 80F. Dew points were in the low 60’s, and although
that would make it feel sticky, the windy conditions gave us
a little comfort from what would otherwise be a humid day.

The wind has been quite active today, starting with a strong
south-southwesterly flow for much of the day. We have been
averaging around 14mph for the day so far. The peak gust so
far is 30mph, which occurred around 12:21pm this afternoon.

Visibility was around 35 miles this morning with hazy skies and
slowly improved to 40 miles by the late morning and early
afternoon hours.

The maximum temperature so far today is 80F degrees, which is
1 degree above the normal high of 79F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 60F degrees, which is 2 degrees below the
normal low of 62F.
