ANOTHER OVERCAST AND COOL DAY WITH TRACE
AMOUNTS OF RAINFALL….

Today was overcast, with some very light drizzle
falling between 7-9 A.M. Precipitation began
again around noontime, only amounting to 0.02 ins.
by the 1 P.M. observation. Visibility was limited
to 20 miles on average due to a distant fog. Wind is
from the northeast at 15 mph, providing the summit
with a cool sea breeze. Skies are again overcast,
with a couple breaks being noticed around 11 A.M.

The high so far today is 69F, 11 degrees below the
daily normal maximum of 80F. The low since midnight
is 62F, the same as the normal minimum.

The summit of Blue Hill is reaching a drought, with
the monthly rain total being 1.87 inches below
normal. Supporting evidence is the annual rain
deficit of -3.79 inches.
