ABUNDANT SUNSHINE, LIGHT WIND, AND SEASONABLE TEMPERATURES ON
THIS EASTER SUNDAY…
What a spectacular day for Easter! Plenty of sunshine has been
the theme along with generally light wind and dry air. The dew-
point has been in the teens, so the air has a slight chill to
it, but the abundance of sunshine and lack of wind nicely
overcomes this.
The temperature has made it to the low 50s into early this
afternoon, which is a touch below normal for the date.
As mentioned, the wind has been quite light with an average
speed of around 8mph for the day so far. The peak gust occurred
around 2am this morning with a value of 21mph.
Visibility has been excellent today, holding at around 70-80
miles.
The high so far today is 51F, which is 2F degrees below the
normal maximum of 53F. The low since midnight is 33F degrees,
which is 2 degrees below the normal minimum for the day of 35F.
