FOR OVERCAST SKIES IN THE AFTERNOON….
This morning, the sky was only partially obstructed
with some scattered altocumulus clouds early on.
At the 10 o’clock observation, about two-thirds
of the sky was obstructed, and by 1 o’clock, nearly
overcast conditions were experienced at the observatory.
Temperatures today have been warm, reaching up to 63F
so far, which is 11 degrees above our normal maximum
temperature for today. Wind speeds have increased
slightly through the day from calm wind early
this morning to regular gusts up to 16 knots by
the late morning into the early afternoon.
