A chilly, rainy start to the week here at Blue Hill. Overnight
precipitation recorded was 0.71 inches and an additional 0.04
inches were recorded during observations today. Temperatures
remained steady through the mid to upper 40’s and the humidity
has been 100% through the early afternoon. The barometric
pressure has steadily decreased since the morning hours.
The wind has remained steady today, with an average around
12mph and prevailing winds so far coming from the ENE. The
highest wind occurred just after midnight with a speed of
30 mph.
Dense fog in the area has made visibility 1/8 to 1/16 of a mile
for most of the day with a vertical visibility reaching only
200 ft.
