FEW LIGHT SHOWERS PRE-DAWN, INCREASING SUNSHINE THIS AFTERNOON….

The day started on the cloudy side with a few light showers passing
through during the wee hours of the morning. 0.02″ of rain was
measured in the rain gauge this morning. Clouds have thinned early
this afternoon with an increasing amount of sunshine. This is
allowing temperatures to warm nicely as we progress through the
afternoon.

Temperatures have reached 60F by the 1pm observation, destined
for the low to mid 60s by later in the day. These readings are
generally about normal for this time of year. The dew point has
been higher today than in recent days with readings in the 40s.

Winds have been fairly steady today, gradually backing from the
west-southwest to the south. The average speed for the day so far
is around 12mph. The peak gust to this point is 28mph, which
occurred way back around 12:30am.

Visibility has been limited today due to haziness, in part due
to the increased moisture in the air. The view has been generally
around or just under 35 miles all day.

The maximum temperature so far today is 61F degrees, which is
1 degree below the normal high of 62F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 41F degrees, which is 2 degrees below the
normal low of 43F.
