Today started off sunny with only 2/8 of the sky being
obstructed by clouds, and as the day progresses,
cloudiness increases. At 1 P.M. EST, we experienced
overcast conditions at the observatory, and showers making
their way into the area. At 7 A.M. EST, we had perfect
visibility, with the top of Mount Monadnock being completely
clear. At 1 P.M., visibility is reduced to 70 miles with
Monadnock being faintly visible behind haze. Our high so
far today is 50F, 10 degrees below our normal maximum
temperature of 60F.
