WARMER WITH GREAT VISIBILITY AND A LIGHT SOUTHERLY BREEZE….
Today featured warmer, yet pleasant weather with dew points
in the mid 50’s and a warm westerly breeze. Wind is light
and variable at 4 mph on average with the highest gust around
18 mph so far.
Skies are partly cloudy with a great visibility of 80 miles
all day long.
The summit continues to have a rainfall deficit, with
1.41″ below normal for August, and an annual deficit of 11.25″!
Most of the Boston area remains under extreme drought conditions.
But the drought has eased up a bit to our south and east.
August 2022 will go down as the 2nd warmest on record here at Blue
