ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL FALL DAY ON THE SUMMIT….
Today exemplified cool and gorgeous fall weather with an
excellent visibility of 85 miles and a refreshing northerly
breeze. Wind was 15 mph on average with frequent gusts around
25 mph. Sky conditions were mostly clear, consisting of a few
cirrus clouds.
The monthly rain total is still 4.20 inches, and our
annual total to 27.78 inches! We now have a monthly rain
surplus of 1.19 inches, but an annual deficit of -9.84 inches.
We are still in a severe drought, at the least.
The high so far today is 67F, which is 3 degrees below the
normal maximum of 70F. The low since midnight is 42F, which is
11 degrees below the normal minimum of 53F.
