GLOOMY FIRST DAY OF EQUINOCTIAL AUTUMN…

Happy autumnal equinox! Conditions weren’t the greatest here today.
The day has been overcast with cool daytime temperatures in the 50’s.
Dew Points have also been in the 50’s making for a rather humid day.
Light drizzle began around 9:40 this morning and continued on and
off throughout observation time. A total of 0.01 inches was measured
at 1:00 P.M. Wind, from the east/ east north east has been mild again
averaging around 10 MPH.

Visibility was diminished today and decreased from 35 miles to 20 miles
as the precipitation moved into the area.

The maximum temperature so far today has been 58F, which is 12 degrees
below the normal high of 70F. The minimum temperature since midnight is
a seasonable 54F, which is 1 degrees above the normal low of 53F.
