SUPERB SATURDAY UNDER MAINLY SUNNY SKIES AND COMFORTABLE HUMIDITY…

Today has been another pretty fine day with plenty of sunshine,
but it’s getting filtered a bit by some increasing high thin
cirrus clouds.

The temperature has reached the upper 70s, which is close to
normal for this time of year. The dew point has however been
slowly climbing from the low to mid 50s to the upper 50s,
unfortunately destined for the 60s later tonight and tomorrow.

The wind has been steady, but somewhat on the light side today
with an average speed of around 10mph so far. The peak gust for
the day, which occurred at noon-time, is around 21mph.

Visibility has remained steady at around 40 miles all day.

The maximum temperature so far today has been 78F, which is
1 degree above the normal high of 77F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 56F, which is 4 degrees below the normal low
of 60F.

Through yesterday, Summer of 2023 (Jun-Aug) is now tied for
7th wettest on record going back to 1886. Here are the top 10
wettest summers as compiled by our Chief Scientist, Mike Iacono.

BHO Highest Summer (June-August) Precipitation, inches (1886-2023):
