Dense but shallow fog settled over the hilltop this morning
and that kept morning temperatures low, but the sun burned the
fog off quickly and temperature began to climb by the 10 o’clock
observation.  The overnight low reached 64 degrees which ties the
daily record high minimum of 64F, set back in 1992.

By the 1:00 PM EST observation temperatures had reached a
maximum of 79F so far as winds began to pick up out of the south,
gusting as high as 20 MPH, and clouds gave way to additional
sunshine.
