EARLY MORNING RAIN GIVES WAY TO SUNSHINE; MUCH COOLER TODAY….

A band of light rain moved across the area early this morning
leaving 0.02″ in the rain gauge. Clearing occurred quickly this
morning leaving us with a splendid day with plenty of sunshine
and cooler temperatures. Readings this afternoon have only
reached the upper 50s (compared to upper 70s yesterday).

The dew point has dropped into the mid/upper 30s, adding a
slight chill to the air when the wind blows.

Speaking of wind, it’s generally been on the light side today
with an average speed for the day so far around 10mph.

Visibility has been excellent all day holding around 80 miles!

The high so far today is 58F, which is 6 degrees below the
normal maximum of 64. The low since midnight is 44F, which is
3 degrees below the normal minimum of 47F.
