FAIR AND COOL WEATHER WITH A GOOD DEAL OF SUNSHINE….

Today started with clear conditions but by mid to late morning,
clouds began to develop due to diurnal heating. Early this
afternoon is now featuring mostly cloudy skies with periods of
sunshine.

Temperatures remain on the cooler side with readings rising from
the upper 30s early this morning to the mid 50s by early this
afternoon. Dew points were holding steady in the upper 30s during
the morning, but have begun to drop off into the low to mid 30s
early this afternoon. It was 35F at the 1pm observation, but has
dropped further since that time. Either way, with the dry air in
place, it’s providing a deep blue sky and clear air which is
allowing for excellent visibility, despite the cloud cover.

The wind has been fairly steady today out of mainly the northwest.
The average speed for the day so far is around 10mph. The peak
gust for the day so far is 21mph, which occurred right around
12:15pm.

Visibility has been excellent today, holding at around 80 miles
throughout the day.

The maximum temperature so far today is 55F degrees, which is
3 degrees below the normal high of 58F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 38F degrees, which is 3 degrees below the
normal low of 41F.
