BRIGHT AND SUNNY BUT COLDER AND BREEZY TODAY…
The sky has been nearly completely clear today with just
a few clouds passing during the day. The temperature has
been well below average after a morning low in the low
20’s and a high so far only in the middle 30’s. With dew
points dropping into the single digits, the relative
humidity has dropped to near 25 percent by early afternoon.
The wind continues breezy out of the NW with a peak gust
to 30 mph from the NW at 6:47 AM, which matched a gust
to the same speed earlier in the day. The visibility has
been excellent, climbing from 70 to 80 miles during
the day.
The high so far today is 35F, which is 10 degrees below the
daily normal maximum of 45F. The low since midnight is 23F,
which is six degree below the normal minimum of 29F.
The daily snowfall records for the next two days are
relatively low and may be surpassed in the upcoming storm.
