ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME (EST)

MAINLY SUNNY SKIES, BUT STILL BLUSTERY AND COLD….

Sunshine has been the theme today with clear skies through the
morning with only a few clouds off in the distance in most
quadrants. Save for the cold wind, it’s a really nice day to be
out and about.

Temperatures dipped into the upper 20s early this morning, and
have been slow to recover during the day. Readings have only
reached near 40F by early this afternoon. Dew point values have
been pretty much sitting in the upper teens, although it did
briefly get into the lower 20s late this morning. Nonetheless,
it has definitely added a decided chill to the air.

The wind has been active once again today. Winds have been out of
the west-northwest for much of the day. The average speed for the
day so far is around 16mph. The peak gust for the day so far is
36mph, which occurred just after midnight.

Visibility has been excellent today, generally between 60-70 miles
all day.

The maximum temperature so far today is 40F degrees, which is
5 degrees below the normal high of 45F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 28F degrees, which is 2 degrees below the
normal low of 30F.
