A NICE LATE FALL DAY ATOP GREAT BLUE HILL….
Today we observed improving conditions as the day went on,
including the sun breaking out of the clouds a little before
the 1 P.M. observation. Wind was westerly, at 16 mph on average
with a peak gust around 23 mph. Visibility went from 20 miles
this morning to almost 70 miles this afternoon, despite
humidity holding in the mid-50 percents and a steady drop in
pressure.
The high so far today is 51F, 5 degrees above the daily normal
high of 46F. The low since midnight is 43F, 13 degrees above the
normal low of 30F.
