QUICK MOVING SYSTEM PROVIDES LIGHT MORNING RAIN, FOG LINGERS….

A storm system passing offshore to our south provided us with
a brief period of light rain this morning. Here on the hill, the
rainfall accumulation for the day stands at 0.16″. We are still
running drier than normal this month, with a deficit of over an
inch.

Temperatures have remained in a constrained range today due to the
passing storm and lack of flow. The low this morning was 41F, with
the mercury slowly creeping up to the high so far of 43F.

Winds remain on the light side. The average speed for the day so
far is 7mph, with winds going calm for several hours late morning.
The peak gust occurred just after midnight, with a speed of
approximately 19mph.

Visibility remains poor due to fog, fluctuating between 2-10 miles.

The maximum temperature so far today is 43F degrees, which is
5 degrees below the normal high of 48F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 41F degrees, which is 9 degrees above the
normal low of 32F.
