EARLY CLOUDS DEPART BY MID-DAY AS DAY TURNS SUNNY AND WARMER…
A small disturbance moved through overnight and brought a few showers
far to the southwest, though no precipitation was recorded at the
Observatory. The overnight temperature remained a very mild 40F,
though lower elevations dropped to near freezing this morning. The
low temperature at Norwood Airport today was 31F.
Once again the temperature has warmed up nicely this afternoon, just
reaching the high on Friday of 59F as of 2 PM. The air remains very
dry with a dew point of 20F and a relative humidity of 23% being
measured on the summit at 1 PM today.
