WARM AND HUMID WITH PLENTY OF SUNSHINE….

We began the morning here with dense fog, which dissipated shortly after
sunrise. A clearing trend took hold through the late morning, with
just some cirrus and altocumulus clouds in the distance. Around 10:30am
cumulus began to develop, with coverage peaking around noon time.
Cumulonimbus were observed in the distance to our N-NNE at the final
observation.

Temperatures today are well above normal, reaching the 80F mark not long
after 10am! We have only climbed a touch more since, with a high so far
of 84F. It does feel a bit sticky out there, as the dew point has held
around 60F since late morning.

Winds have been steady out of the south, picking up as the day has
progressed. The average speed so far is 11mph, with a peak gust to 35mph
just after 12:30pm.

Visibility remains poor, mostly due to the moisture and pollen in the
air. Views have yet to exceed 30 miles.

The maximum temperature for today is 84F degrees, which is 21 degrees
above the normal high of 63F. The minimum temperature since midnight
is 54F degrees, which is 10 degrees above the normal low of 44F.
