YET ANOTHER GORGEOUS DAY, WARM, LIGHTER WINDS….

What a wonderful day to get outside! It is quite warm, but the
dew point is lower than the past several days, providing a comfortable
feel. Sunshine has been abundant, only filtered occasionally by
some thin cirrus.

Temperatures bottomed out in the mid 50s this morning, and quickly
began rising following sunrise. We have since made it to the upper 70s,
which is a bit above normal for the end of May. Luckily though, the
dew point has remained steady throughout the day, holding in the upper
40s.

Winds have slowed significantly since yesterday, with our average speed
to this point only being 7mph. The peak gust so far is approximately 20mph,
taking place a few minutes after 2am.

Visibility has improved compared to yesterday, holding steady at around
60 miles through the early afternoon.

The maximum temperature so far today is 77F degrees, which is
8 degrees above the normal high of 69F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 55F degrees, which is 4 degrees above the
normal low of 51F.
