CLOUDS MAKE A RETURN TO BLUE HILL WITH COOL TEMPERATURES AND
LIGHT WIND…

This morning there were peaks of red around sunrise but by the
first observation the clouds filled in and we had overcast
conditions for the remainder of the day. Some fog moved in mid
morning and stuck around throughout the early afternoon.

Temperatures have been steady and slow to increase, mostly due to
the overcast conditions. We started the morning at 33F and have
climbed only a few degrees to 39F by the final observation. Dew
points have been in the low 30s through much of the day.

The wind has been overall light, with the wind changing from the NNE
yesterday to a more south easterly flow today. The average speed so
far for the day has only been around 9mph. Today’s current peak gust
of 22mph occurred just before noon time.

Visibility was about 40 miles in the morning but decreased to 30
miles by mid morning.

The maximum temperature so far today is 39F degrees, which is
3 degrees below the normal high of 42F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 32F degrees, which is 7 degrees above the normal
low of 25F.
