FOGGY DAY WITH QUICKLY ACCUMULATING SNOW THAT
DISSIPATED BY 1 P.M….
Snow began today sometime shortly before 6 A.M.
and has been accumulating since then, with a
total accumulation so far of 3.6 inches. Fog obscured
visibility to 1/8th of a mile until around 12:30
P.M. when fog began to lift for the 1 o’clock
observation, where visibility increased slightly
to 1 mile. Temperatures have not fluctuated very
much with our high temperature so far today being
31F, and our low temperature so far being 28F.
Wind speeds for today were faster than yesterday,
remaining consistent around 10 knots, with occasional
gusts over 20 knots. Pressure has been falling
throughout the day.
