CLEAR SKIES TO START GIVE WAY TO SOME CLOUDS…
The morning began with mostly clear skies and abundant sunshine.
As the day progressed, a stratocumulus layer developed,
resulting in a mix of clouds and sun by the afternoon. Still,
it remains a beautiful day by March standards!
It is quite warm today compared to the historical average. We began the
morning in the mid 30s and have since reached the upper 50s. The dew
point has been hovering in the mid 30s throughout the day.
The winds so far are very light, with an average of only 6mph or so.
The peak gust to this point is not impressive, clocking in at 17mph
just before 11:15am.
Visibility has been good today, varying between 40-60 miles.
The maximum temperature so far today is 57F degrees, which is
13 degrees above the normal high of 44F. The minimum temperature since
midnight is 36F degrees, which is 9 degrees above the normal low
of 27F.
