OVERCAST, COOL, AND BREEZY TO THIS POINT TODAY AS TEMPERATURES
SPEND ANOTHER DAY BELOW NORMAL….

Clouds have dominated the sky today although some dim sunshine
has attempted to poke through briefly early this afternoon.
Some light rain showers well off to the west this morning dried
up, so at least so far, it’s been dry here on Blue Hill.

Temperatures have been on the cool side relative to normal for
late June. Temperatures have spent most of the day in the 60s
with the mercury just reaching 70F after the 1pm observation.
The dew point remains in the comfortable territory with values
in the low 50s.

The wind has been on the busy side out of the south with an
average speed for the day so far of around 12mph. Gusts have
been approaching 30mph at times, so it’s definitely on the
breezy side today.

Visibility has decreased as we moved into the early afternoon
hours. The view was around 60 miles all morning, but dropped
to around 40 miles by the 1pm observation.

The maximum temperature so far today is 70F, which is 9 degrees
below the normal high of 79F. The minimum temperature since
midnight is 58F, which is 4 degrees below the normal low of 62F.
