DAILY DISCUSSION AND CLIMATE SUMMARY
SATURDAY, JUNE 20, 2015
ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME

MOSTLY SUNNY MORNING TURNS INCREASINGLY CLOUDY
THIS AFTERNOON…

Following the passage of a cold front through New England
on Friday, drier air moved in over night. This dropped the
dew point to near 50F and brought a low temperature this
morning of 56F. In addition to just scattered clouds and
bright sun this morning, the visibility was close to 80
miles for a time earlier today. As the day progressed,
clouds advanced and the dew point has climbed into the
upper 50s. By early afternoon, the sun is making only
brief appearances through the low clouds. These are a
precursor to the wetter weather expected tomorrow from
the remnant low pressure that made landfall in Texas
earlier in the week as Tropical Storm Bill.
