WARMER WITH HIGHER HUMIDITY AND SOME BUILDING
CUMULUS IN THE AFTERNOON HOURS….
Today we observed partly cloudy skies and a limited
visibility of 35 miles due to haze. Conditions have
started to improve due to a drop in humidity from
79% this morning to 54% this afternoon.
Pressure is on a steady drop, and building cumulus
have been spotted to the north and west at the
1 P.M. observation.
A trace of rain was seen later on yesterday from a
passing shower, but we are looking for more measurable
precipitation at the moment. The monthly rainfall
deficit is over 1.5 inches, with a yearly deficit
of 3.56 inches. The vegetation on the summit shows
slight stress.
The high so far today is 85F, which is 9 degrees above
the normal high of 76F. The low since midnight is 63F,
which is 4 degrees above the daily normal low of 59F.
