DEW POINT PLUMMETS, SEASONABLE WITH MIX OF CLOUDS AND SUN….

Following stormy weather yesterday afternoon/evening and very early
this morning, conditions have been quite tame today. Some cumulus,
stratocumulus, and altocumulus clouds have dotted the sky, but there
has been plenty of sunshine regardless. The trend has been for clearing
skies going into the early afternoon.

The temperature today began in the low 60s, and slowly rose through the
morning into the low 70s. The dew point has been falling throughout the
day as a dryer air mass moves in, falling from the low 60s to the mid 40s
by the early afternoon.

Winds have been steady but not all that impressive. The average speed to
this point is about 9mph, with the flow primarily out of the north-northwest.
The peak gust to this point is about 24mph, taking place just before 12:30pm.

Visibility has been good today with the decreased moisture in the air, and
has ranged from 50-60 miles throughout the day.

The maximum temperature so far today is 73 degrees, which is
2 degrees below the normal high of 75F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 60F degrees, which is 2 degrees above the normal
low of 58F.
