CONVECTIVE SHOWERS ARE THE NAME OF THE GAME SO FAR….

We observed tall cumulus clouds today, producing a couple
showers that left us with 0.04 inches of rainfall following
the 0.04 inches that fell yesterday afternoon. This brings
the monthly rain total to an astounding 10 inches. That’s
a monthly surplus of 8.17 inches and a yearly of 4.58 inches.

Visibility broke 50 miles with fog being a factor this morning.
Cumulonimbus have been seen off to the southeast.

The high so far today is 78F, 4 degrees above the daily average
of 82F. The low so far today is 67F, which is 3 degrees above
the daily average of 64F.

On a side note, the renovations have begun in earnest this week.
We are no longer operating out of the tower and have moved to
another part of the building. All wind instruments on the main
tower have been taken offline and will remain so until further
notice. Please be patient with us as we navigate through our
new routine. Data at times may be delayed.
