LOTS OF CLOUDS TODAY, BUT STILL WARM AND A TAD HUMID…
All in all not a bad day today. Despite the cloud cover, which
is mainly of the cirrus variety, there has been enough dim
sunshine to allow temperatures to rise into the low to mid 80s.
The dew point is a bit higher than yesterday and its noticeable,
but isn’t anything uncomfortable. Dew point readings have been
hanging around 60F for the most part.
The wind has been light yet again today. It was mainly out of
a west-southwesterly direction this morning, but has since
backed to the south-southwest early this afternoon, helping to
bring the more humid air into the area. The average speed for
the day has only been around 10mph, with a peak of only 20mph
just after 10:30 this morning.
The high so far today is 84F, which is 2 degrees above the
normal maximum of 82F. The low since midnight is 63F, which
is 1 degree below the normal minimum of 64F.
